Camborne - July 2008
Imagineers was a site-specific creative project produced by Antony Waller that took place in the Camborne Pool and Redruth area during the summer of 2008.
Imagineers was a partnership between Mineral Tramways, National Trust (Cornish Mines and Engines), Kerrier District Council, Kernow Education Arts Partnership, Hi8us Cornwall, The Works and King Edward Mine.
Cscape created a unique site specific performance piece with 14 professional and graduate dancers from Cornwall at Cornish Mines and Engines.
The piece was promenade in style and was performed in three sites at the National Trust property.
The project also sought to involve young people in reflecting on Cornwall’s mining heritage in order to think about Cornwall’s economic and cultural future.
Cscape worked in 8 schools on a range of ideas for installation and performance, all of which were performed in the final week of the project on a stretch of the Great Flat Lode trail.
